Rawiri McKree Jansen, former Te Aka Whai Ora chief medical officer says he supports Judge Stone’s firm call for the Ministry of Health to justify the knocking over of Te Aka Whai Ora – Māori Health Authority

The Waitangi Tribunal has given the Government 48 hours to release eight non-edited documents explaining why and how it decided to shut down Te Aka Whai Ora.

McKree-Jansen says Health Minister Shane Reti has been “all talk and no action” regarding a shift to work with Māori advisory boards, referencing his role on the Tūwharetoa board
